Brain is a cofounder and partner at LIONS and leads the on-shore RMB fund focused on A + H shares. He has years of investing and industry experience in China & Singapore. Brian was a seasoned equity portfolio manager（APAC ex-Japan）at MUFG and NATIXIS in Singapore. His fund (5-Star MorningStar rated) outperformed its benchmark every year during his tenure. As the Head of Capital Markets and Strategic investments at 58.com, a leading internet company in China, he led the capital raising and IPO process for two of the firm’s portfolio businesses.
Brian has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Industrial Engineering from the National University of Singapore and is a CFA Charter Holder
Zong Z. Peng, Founding Partner
PM of U.S./China Strategy
Zong is a cofounder and partner at LIONS and leads the off-shore USD fund focused on U.S. equities and ADRs. He has years of operating and investing experience in U.S. & China. Zong was the CEO of QCC.com (Quickly Check Companies), a leading software and data start-up in China, with $100m+ in revenue. Prior to moving to China for entrepreneurial pursuit, Zong worked in strategy & corporate development at TIAA and S&P Global Market Intelligence, making acquisitions and investments in financial and technology companies in the U.S., and was a technology strategy consultant at Accenture.
Zong has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Finance & Marketing from the University of Maryland, and is a CFA Charter Holder
